NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER, JUST LIKE US. FIGHT TILL THE END! COME ON ULTRAS BISSUOLA

An interesting group of fans from Italy will be introduced to our readers. This country and its citizens are known for their passion for sport. Not only football is very popular in Italy, but we also have to mention basketball, volleyball, water polo, Formula 1, ice and field hockey and futsal. The Armata Giallo Blu encourages the futsal team Bissuola Riecco from Mestre, near Venice.
Futsal has been played in Italy on an organised basis since 1987. The Italian Futsal Association was founded that year and in 1988 Italy became one of the founders of the European Union of Futsal. In 1991 the World Championship was organized in MIlan. The same year the Italian clubs joined the Champions League Cup.
The Serie A1 is the elite futsal league in Italy. It was founded in 1984 and currently consists of 12 teams. The most successful club is the Luparense with 6 titles to its name.
The Bissuola Riecco is a modest team in the Serie C2, where they advanced in 2019 after two difficult years in the so called "purgatory"! In the promotion year the yellow-blue players won 18 games out of 21, collected 55 points with a 112-45 score. Not bad...
Peppe, one of the founding members tells us about the birth of the Armata Giallo Blu:
"The fan club came alive to support the children, because the we realized, if the kids were encouraged they gave their best and fought like professional players. We did not stop there, started to follow the first team. Designed our banners, bought drums and our chants were heard everywhere, where Bissuola Riecco played. We were 5 friends, who started this madness and today we are part of a 200 strong crowd, who are ther every fixture to give their support for the boys.
Can you imagine what does it mean to our children when the first team players come to support them every important tournament? You can see, it works vice versa!
We want to expand by bringing this project to schools as well, explaining to children and their families that cheering and ultras are not synonymous with violence, rather it is a sense of belonging together, you win and lose together like a real family. We always say no to violence and yes to a clean and fair support.
It should be noted that the fan club is not supported economically by anybody, all expenses are payed by us and by the first team players. We have a great coach, named Armando Teixeira, who is a former football player and now trains our U16 squad. He is doing this job out of pure passion, just like we do it. We maximally understand how hard is to find money in the lower competitions."
Good luck, guys!!!
